CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Come and enjoy the vast scientific experiences here on campus while also enjoying the fun and active environment of camp. During this week, the children will have an opportunity to dabble in many different scientific experiences. These experiences will range from classification of the plants on campus to the physics of our playground equipment. The children will spend each morning enjoying a team building activity, a short lesson on the topic of the day, free play, and even some sports. In the afternoon, the children will spend time participating in a hands on activity that will correlate with the morning’s lesson.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YEA Camp is a unique and inspiring leadership summer camp for youth 12-17 who care about community service, activism and social justice. A week-long sleep-away program in a beautiful camp location, YEA is designed to be a fun and transformative experience that builds life-long friendships between youth with similar interests. Our program also provides a meaningful opportunity for campers to learn more about some of the issues facing our planet and to get inspired and empowered to take action on those issues.

Campers choose an issue of importance to them (for example, some have chosen climate change, racism, homophobia, homelessness, animal rights) and at YEA they build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and community to take action on that issue long after camp is over. Youth who have participated in our programs report that the camp was one of the most fun, rewarding and life-changing experiences they have had, and, with YEA's community support, have gone on to start school clubs, plan fundraisers for nonprofits, organize community clean-ups, and attend hearings to comment about important community issues.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Mass Motion Dance Summer Camps are a fun and educational summer activity for your child offering the opportunity to experience, experiment and explore the many different aspects of dance. Mass Motion Dance has offered quality dance training since 1983.

With locations in Sturbridge, Boston and Peabody, Mass Motion Dance has highly qualified instructors.

Dancers spend each day in two different technique classes including ballet, modern/contemporary, jazz, Broadway, tap, hip hop, and lyrical. Alternating with technique classes, students are offered complimentary activities such as improvisation, composition, tumbling, pedagogy, dance history, and choreography.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Mass Motion Dance (MMD) offers high quality dance education, to students of all ages, through a wide variety of dance classes. Founded in Sturbridge, Massachusetts in 1983, under the direction of Terri Gordon, MMD has proven its excellence in dance training. Ms. Gordon, a former member of the Boston Ballet Company and Tanz Forum, the modern dance company of Cologne, Germany, is passionate and driven to develop each student’s technique to its highest level. In 2003, MMD proudly announced the opening of the Boston studio under the direction of Irada Djelassi. In 2010, MMD North opened its doors in Peabody, Massachusetts to students under the direction and ownership of Katherine Hooper.

Whether a student’s goal is fitness and recreation or a future career in dance, at MMD dancers will find classes that fit their objective as well as their schedule. Students may choose from a broad range of dance idioms such as ballet, modern, tap, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, Irish step and more. MMD strives to teach the strongest technique to each student, in a positive setting, allowing each dancer to find their passion for the art and sport of dance. Dorms : The dorms are very comfortable. Wall-to-wall carpet, rooms with lots of space for all of your clothing and equipment. Each lounge has a television, refrigerator and microwave accessible to the campers.

95% of the rooms have 2 children per room, 2% have 3 children per room, 1% have 4 children per room and 2% are single occupancy rooms (typically for our oldest campers)

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The World Sports Camp mission is to create a safe and positive sports environment, where children from around the world, ages 8 through 16, can interact while improving their athletic skills. (Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Golf) This is accomplished through positive reinforcement coaching, with skill level training, from high level, skilled coaches and counselors. World Sports Camp allows for campers to choose which sports and to what degree they will be involved.

By empowering campers to make their own choices, we feel that their involvement will be more enthusiastic and they will have a greater desire to participate. Attention is given to treating all campers equally, with value and understanding given to the beginners as well as the advanced athlete.

World Sports Camp draws campers from 86 countries, all over the world. Approximately 35% of our campers hail from outside the United States and 65% are American. The opportunity to exchange cultural differences and participate in sports and other activities with peers from around the world is second to none.

Camp life and off campus activities are an integral part of the World Sports Camp experience. Developing new national and international friendships through sports and other camp activities, improves the quality of life for all involved. Fairness, quality sportsmanship and enforcement of rules and regulations are emphasized both on and off the playing field.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: C.I.T.'s (Camper In Training) This is a true leadership program at World Sports Camp. These campers must be 16 years of age and all but one period of each day, they will follow the normal camp schedule. During that one period, the CIT’s will shadow a coach to learn about the different coaching techniques. By the end of their stay at World Sports Camp, each CIT camper will develop a lesson for an entire period and will teach their lesson to the campers, as if they were the Head Coach!! They will have the help of the other coaches, but this will allow the CIT's to get out of their comfort zone and try something new.

As well, we have a dedicated CIT counselor who will evaluate each CIT at the end of each week to let each CIT know what they have done well and what needs improvement. In addition, because of their dedication and hard work we take all of the CIT's on a CIT trip. We allow the CIT’s to decide what this will be. For example, this past year, we went to mini-golf, laser tag, a movie and dinner off the campus as their trip of choice.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have outdoor picnic groves, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, a baseball diamond and soccer field. Through the woods there is a high and low ropes course and an archery range. Our pool allows us to swim rain or shine, and we have a large gym, several racquetball courts, and an indoor climbing wall.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Youth who are eager to learn, develop and enhance their leadership skills in the camp setting, apply to be C.I.T.s. These future counselors train in daily sessions: covering many areas such as effective listening, peer relationships, role modeling and programming.

C.I.T.s work with different age groups learning developmental stages and finding their preferred age group. As a group project, the C.I.T.s will plan and implement a camp-wide carnival.

The C.I.T. program includes a 5-day, 4-night recreational trip to Club Getaway in Kent, CT, from July 15 - July 19. Teens will bond as a group and enjoy boating, rock climbing, group challenge activities, trapeze, giant swing and evening socials. Each applicant is interviewed after registering.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Ivy Seed Academy was founded in August of 2013 and based in Boston Massachusetts, Ivy Seed is an education company that provides STEM programs, summer camps for children around the world and educational tours.

The course is designed to prepare students for the fundamentals of IOS programming language created by Apple. Throughout the Programming & App Development for iPhone & iPad, students will explore fundamental programming concepts and instructional design principles. Students will able to apply design principles and create individual phone app at the end of class.

Each day the camp runs from 9am-4pm and includes lunch and 1 off-campus field trip each session. Past field trips have included: MIT General Campus Tours, Visiting Media Lab on CampusBoston Science Museum (Tickets NOT included)Visiting Google or Microsoft Office, CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center), and other tech related companies or departments.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Jack Rua Camp for Children with Diabetes is a friendly place where youth with diabetes, their siblings and friends benefit from hands-on learning experiences in diabetes management and support within a fun and welcoming environment.

Our mission is to foster friendships among children with diabetes, their siblings and friends through a safe, active program while enabling them to learn about and face the common challenges of diabetes.

Camp Jack is Accredited by the American Camp Association and is a member of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association. CAMP FACILITIES: Campers enjoy the JCC's air-conditioned, professional theater, art and dance studios, science classrooms, an indoor pool for lessons, and a zero-entry outdoor pool for free swim. Additionally, campers enjoy a dedicated gaga pit, outdoor ping pong and foosball tables, tennis courts, fields, woods, trails, and access to the Charles River. Campers may bring a vegetarian or fish lunch, or pre-order lunch from our on-site kosher caterer.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Kaleidoscope is dedicated to making camp a fun, nurturing, educational experience for each camper. Staff include well-trained bunk counselors ages 18 and up who work with groups of campers daily, and professional teachers who lead classes. Programming is organized into two four-week sessions, with flexible registration options. Registration minimum is two weeks.

All campers swim daily, with lessons offered twice weekly with our professional aquatics staff, utilizing the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy methods. Each session culminates in "Arts Night," including art and science exhibits, musical performances from lower and middle camp groups, and a fully realized musical from upper campers.

Lower campers entering grades K & 1 enjoy a balanced day of arts, science, and sports activities with caring, inclusive counselors and specialists. Middle campers entering grades 2 & 3 follow a schedule of diverse activities with their groups and enjoy "choice times" when they individually choose activities. Upper Campers in grades 4-8 design their own programs, choosing activities weekly, including theater, art, music, dance, boating and more. Upper Campers who elect to be in the musical attend for a full, 4-week session. All campers attending weeks 4 and/or 8 participate in "Arts Night", showcasing their art and science projects, and performing for parents and friends.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CITs in grades 9-11 are an integral part of camp, providing leadership and receiving training while also pursuing their own interests. They create their own schedule under the guidance of dedicated CIT staff. They spend approximately half the day assisting camper groups or activities, and half the day pursuing their own interests. CITs pay a reduced rate.

Counselors
Seeking mature, reliable, patient people who understand what it takes to make a camper's day a wonderful experience. JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts & Science Camp is a pluralistic camp welcoming the entire community. While camp is not easily accessible by public transportation, bus counselor positions are available from Framingham and Brookline. Counselors must be 18 years of age or older or high school graduates with demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with children. All counselors must be available for the full eight-week season.

Lower and Middle Camp Counselors work in pairs or groups of three and are responsible for a group of 10-15 campers entering grades K-3. They support and nurture campers throughout the day as campers attend activities in the arts, science, sports and swimming. Middle camp counselors may also assist in other areas throughout camp.

Upper Camp Counselors work with campers entering grades 4-8. They teach or assist in classes, activities and theatrical productions. Positions include: tennis and other sports teachers, costumer, assistant tech director for shows, guitar and piano teachers, boating specialists (lifeguard certification required), and crafts teachers. Upper Camp teaching counselors should have completed at least one year of college.

Digital Designer
Creating your own character can be overwhelming, but this class can teach you the steps you need to create a fully flushed out, real character! This class will teach you how to create a model of your character as well as all of the traits that make the character believable. You can use these characters in anything from D&D to professional animation!

Tabletop Game Inventor
Games come in all shapes, sizes, complexity, and feeling. In this camp students will start by learning how to think about game design and game flow, working through idea, prototype, and finally making a full game that they made and can play with their family and friends. Students will be able to craft their game using a variety of tools to help bring the beauty of their design into the real world.

3D Design in Blender
This class will teach you how to create an amazing 3D character in Blender! This class will focus on how to create your own characters in blender that can be used for any game you might use! We will focus on modeling, rigging, and rendering your character.

Game Dev in Unity 3D
Make a game that is uniquely yours using industry leading tools while learning the C# Programming Language! From RPG to adventure game, this camp is all about bringing your story and imagination to life, and at the end you'll have a game that is playable and shareable with your friends.

We are hiring additional smart, creative, dynamic coding and engineering instructors to deliver our one of a kind program to students in Woburn, MA and throughout the Boston area. This part-time position includes teaching programs during after school hours (4pm-7pm) with weekday mornings and weekends throughout the year, and full day camp programs during the summer.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: A summer dance workshop is a rare opportunity for students (ages 4-18) to focus on dance, uninterrupted by competing demands of school and other activities. Warm days rich in dance, music, choreography, stage craft classes and the finer understanding of the body that comes from studying anatomy, physiology and nutrition combine for a powerful experience - even for the youngest students!. Students learn about costume design, stage-craft, dance history, and experiment with their own creative ideas as well. They also enjoy seeing and discussing video recordings of classic and new dance performances that connect our students with dancers worldwide.

Main Division students also take classes in classical ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, repertoire, and other character dance, learn advanced stage makeup and present an end-of-workshop performance in the studio theater. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Drama Camp is run and instructed by Amy Kimball, who has worked in the summer camp setting for 32 summers. She directed Summer Camp for 20 summers. Amy is an experienced Clown, Mime, Performer, Director, Certified Teacher and has had every role at camp from counselor to unit head to specialist to Director. Amy has her BA in Education and has directed over 15 theatrical productions over the years. She will be working with help from a talented staff of performers who have expertise in singing and acting. Amy's staff will go through a camp staff orientation to understand their roles and responsibilities as counselors.

Our philosophy is for campers to create, learn, enjoy and work together all in a positive setting. Drama camp is about process but at the end of the week, the campers will perform for their friends and families.

CAMP FACILITIES: The main building at Belvoir is a historical mansion built in 1886, one of the Lenox great estates landscaped by Olmstead who created central park in New York City. There are now eighteen buildings on the site including four modern dorms subdivded into bunk rooms, four dancing studios, fifteen art studios, twenty two music studios, five theaters, two pools, six tennis courts, lawns, wooded paths, gardens, and all with a view of the Berkshire hills.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Belvoir is an individualized six week educational summer program with excellent teaching in all program areas. The fifteen MFA art teachers offer small classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, black and white and digital photography and jewelry. Girls can elect one or many studio classes. The dance faculty teach graded classes of ballet, pointe, modern, jazz and tap. Belvoir has an appropriately challenging and fun dance class for every girl and all dancers enjoy performance opportunities. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YEA Camp is a unique and inspiring leadership summer camp for youth 12-17 who care about community service, activism and social justice. A week-long sleep-away program in a beautiful camp location, YEA is designed to be a fun and transformative experience that builds life-long friendships between youth with similar interests. Our program also provides a meaningful opportunity for campers to learn more about some of the issues facing our planet and to get inspired and empowered to take action on those issues.

Campers choose an issue of importance to them (for example, some have chosen climate change, racism, homophobia, homelessness, animal rights) and at YEA they build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and community to take action on that issue long after camp is over. CAMP FACILITIES: Brooks School is New England’s leader in summer programs. Situated on the idyllic Brooks School campus with its manicured fields, beautiful lake, and extensive amenities, participants have access to a variety of recreational, educational, and creative experiences. Our 270-acre campus offers summer programs the use of dorms, a full-service dining hall, an athletic complex, pools, boathouses with lake access, modern classrooms, and a professional performing arts center. Designed to meet diverse interests, abilities, and needs, our portfolio of programs is unmatched. At Brooks School, participants will find an environment that fosters a culture that creates a physically and emotionally safe, enriching environment.

After more than two years of construction, Brooks’ state-of-the-art Center for the Arts opened its doors to students, faculty and staff for use on October 30, 2018. The $28 million facility has transformed the school, bonding the visual, musical, and performing arts together and placing them on display at the center of campus.

The Center for the Arts consists of three structures: one each for performance, music, and visual arts. Connecting all three is a shared indoor “arts street” and outdoor courtyard. The two-level interior street offers gathering and seating areas for small groups, providing space for informal exchange, collaboration, discussion, exhibitions and receptions before and after events. The walls serve as a gallery, highlighting the arts as every member of the Brooks community passes through the building.

Performances, teaching and community gatherings have a spacious, comfortable home in the theater, designed to fit the entire student body with 387 seats. Its stage connects to a scene shop and a 1,200-square-foot Black Box theater, which provides a flexible teaching space and an additional performance venue. A costume shop, changing room and green room are included as well. Sliding barn doors increase visibility and connection in the Arts Street, as well as allow overflow standing room for large events.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We’re more than a summer camp. Our wide array of programs for children ages 4–18 help young people develop skills for a successful future. While participants are engaged in daily activities, something else is happening; they are gaining self-confidence, social skills, and the qualities of being a leader. Broadway at Brooks is our premier theatre camp, which is perfect for young artists looking to take their theatrical training to the next level. Perfect for students ages 12 to 14 who want to develop their acting and singing skills and improve their stage presence. Broadway at Brooks brings together theatre professionals with an invaluable depth of knowledge and years of experience in the field to truly provide a meaningful and long-lasting experience. Participants will gain artistry skills, increasing their ability to execute excellent technique, through instruction from our experienced and diverse team. Learn the elements of performing in a musical with blocking, acting instruction, scene and character study, vocal technique, and movement- for beginners to pros! In ARTventurers the only limitations are one’s imagination. Come to explore theatre, music, and visual arts, leave with a new appreciation and understanding. The carefully crafted schedule seeks to maximize exposure to the visual and performing arts while offering a balance with outdoor play. Participants will find the opportunity to engage in traditional camp activities ranging from organized games to crafts. All activities are led by dedicated youth development professionals.

July 19-August 13, Ages 6-8

Week 1 - Fairytale Frenzy: Little Red Riding Hood, Peter Pan, and Goldilocks are just a few characters we will explore as we bring the world of fairy tales to life onstage! Participants will add a new spin to class tales through music, dance, art, and acting.

Week 2 - Off to Oz: Join Brooks as we journey down the yellow brick road! Participants will explore all of the magic and joy of The Wizard of Oz through music, dance, art, and acting.

Week 3 - Under the Sea: From seashells to seahorses, participants will craft their own sea creations! There is no lack of inspiration as participants sing, dance, acting, and artfully explore the world of Under the Sea.

Week 4 - Monster Mash: We’re gonna mash, monster mash our way through a week of song, dance, art, and acting inspired by any type of imaginable monster! Big, small, furry, funny, scary, silly – All monsters are welcome! Don’t worry, “you’ll catch on in a flash”!

Brooks TV: Become a screenwriter, director, and movie star as you write and produce your own short film! From camera angles to cameos, from b-roll to bloopers, this program will get the ‘on set’ experience as you work as a team to take over the big screen. Participants will share a bit of their process in a showcase on Friday afternoon, and the final films will later be distributed via email. July 19-July 23, 2021.

Fractured Fairytales: No role is too small as you write, act, and produce your own short works of theatre! Experience the journey of a play from idea to performance as you draft scripts, create characters, design sets, and more in this fast-paced class. Participants will share their creations in a showcase for family and friends. August 9-August 13, 2021.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Debate Camp creates a learning experience that is safe, welcoming, fun, and intellectually-engaging. Our program is meant to appeal to all ability levels, from the reluctant speaker to the already-accomplished debater.

We believe that learning is best served by engaging students in an academic experience, while at the same time ensuring they feel empowered to take risks.

We believe that "camp" creates a novel and secure learning environment in which campers feel safe to try new skills, think on their feet, see the opposing view, and to trust their teammates. Campers repeatedly inform us of how successful their academic experiences are - after Debate Camp, largely because they felt emboldened and confident in their ability to engage in discourse on subjects they felt unsure about only weeks previous. " I learned so much" is the most consistent feedback we get.

We feel that debating is not an elite skill for competition purposes only. Nor is it something that should be oversold / overcharged for the purpose of enhancing the college application process. We believe that to have advocacy skills, an ability with rhetoric, an ability to effectively organize one's thoughts, an ability to listen and be heard and to honour one's opponents with effective points and counter-points, are skills that all kids should develop.

As such, we annually review our fee scale to ensure we remain within reach of as many families as possible. We continue to work on funding and recruitment structures so that we may continue to remove barriers to enrichment education.

Moreover, we remain about training in the area of verbal advocacy; to stand, speak and be heard - an area requiring continued attention at a time when digital means provide so many alternatives to this. In the generation of the smart phone, of potentially less human-to-human conversation over substantial matters, what we teach is even more coveted...

Education has forever operated on a belief in the skills, ability and good intention of the future generation. Debate Camp is honoured to be invested in this work.

Debate Camp successfully completed the ACA 18 month accreditation process in 2021. This process included a thorough documentation and policy review of Debate Camp's Operation Manual and training materials. In 2021, an ACA site visitor visited in-person camp locations to observe camp operations and ensure the highest of facility standards at two of our American Debate Camp locations (as exemplars of our program in all regions)

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Brimmer and May Day Camp is specifically designed with the younger child in mind. Our goal is to enrich your child's summer experience through play, success, and engagement with other children and with our committed staff. All of our Head Counselors and Specialty Counselors are over 21 years old and most specialize in early childhood education and development. Every day each child from 3 to 10 years old will do a variety of activities: Music, Arts and Crafts, Sports and Games, Drama, Lego, Clay, Nature, Swimming.

Every child at Brimmer and May Day Camp swims every day in our heated pool and no one needs to come to camp knowing how to swim. We will teach your child how to swim!

Our Specialty Programs are taught by Brimmer and May faculty who have designed their program to enhance your child's summer learning in a creative way. They will be encouraged to attempt new things, test themselves and learn new stuff! They will get an hour of free swim in our heated pool every day.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Counselor-in-Training program at Brimmer and May will provide an opportunity for students entering ninth and tenth grade to teach and work with younger campers as apprentice counselors while learning the ropes. CITs (also known as Campers-in-Transition) are under the supervision and direction of experienced professional staff. CITs will get an opportunity to work with each age group, and when appropriate, be asked to lead activities. Weekly meetings provide feedback and guidance throughout the summer.

CIT applicants must be available for the full camp day (8:15-4:15 p.m.) and can select either a full summer (all 8 weeks of the program) or either of two four-week sessions (first or second half of summer). CIT's are also required to attend pre-camp staff orientation.

CAMP FACILITIES: The sanctuary encompasses 245 acres of forest, field, and wetland habitats, each offering exciting opportunities for nature exploration. The 2 miles of trails on the sanctuary include a scenic boardwalk across a pond and marsh, and a trail for the visually impaired. Indoors, the visitor center contains displays on various natural history topics, program space, and a gift shop with nature-oriented items.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Stony Brook Day Camp gives children the chance to do what comes naturally—explore! Weekly sessions have campers ages 3–15 discovering our wildlife sanctuary’s forest, fields, and wetlands. Trail explorations, hands–on activities, games, crafts, and more provide full ecosystem immersion for an enhanced learning experience, while small group sizes ensure a welcoming, supportive environment.

Our goal is to provide an engaging and educational experience in a safe, supportive setting where campers learn to grow both as individuals and as part of a team and to understand, enjoy and appreciate the nature of Massachusetts

Campers at Stony Brook have the opportunity to investigate four varied habitats - pond, wetland, field, and forest as they form friendships that last a lifetime. Through a combination of outdoor investigations, non-competitive games, crafts and other activities, campers use the sanctuary as a living laboratory where they can observe and enjoy numerous plants and animals. They become young naturalists as they begin to identify wildlife species; junior scientists while critically thinking about environmental problems and solutions; and amateur ecologists predicting where they might find salamanders on a hot day.

Campers can attend multiple weeks without repetition and are encouraged to do so. Each session has a theme, and each week features different age-appropriate activities ensuring that each session is a unique experience. Children who return year after year achieve new levels of confidence and natural history proficiency.

Our staff’s enthusiasm for the natural world is contagious and quickly spreads to the campers. Marla Cohen has been camp director since 2002. A majority of the counselors are undergraduate students majoring in education or environmental science and are selected for their maturity and experience working with children in outdoor settings. This combination of youth and experience generates a highly motivated and vibrant atmosphere.

All camp staff are trained in First Aid and CPR. Prior to the beginning of camp, all staff participate in a week-long training session that includes program preparation and health and safety guidelines.

As an ACA-accredited camp, Stony Brook Camp meets both the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and American Camp Association standards for its program, staffing, counselor/camper ratios, health and safety policies, site and facilities, and administration.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The CIT program provides an opportunity for teens and young adults to experience camp and receive leadership guidance and training, while acting as volunteer assistants to day camp counselors. This program is for youth ages 15-17 who are interested in learning about leadership and working with children. Teenagers are invited to experience the fun, stress, and rewards of camp as they assist Stony Brook Camp Counselors. CITs are expected to participate in the overall planning and implementation of weekly activities such as crafts, nature projects, camp songs and games. Our CIT’s Learn valuable job training and leadership skills as they work side by side with Counselors. The responsibilities given to CITs will help sculpt them into responsible adults and future stewards of our community.

CIT’s are looked up to and admired by campers. It is expected that our CIT’s will be enthusiastic about everything that they participate in and lead. CIT’s must set the example for the rest of camp—campers watch what CIT’s do. It is expected that a CIT will lead by example! CIT’s will not have sole responsibility for campers. The CIT’s will have the opportunity to help lead campers, but they will be supervised by staff at all times.

Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or have two years camp experience in a leadership role. Must be able to work both cooperatively and independently. Current certification in Red Cross Community CPR and First Aid or an equivalent current certification is required (training opportunities provided).

CAMP FACILITIES: Modern dorms with bathrooms on each hall, well-equipped science laboratories, state-of-the-art computer and media labs, brand new air-conditioned dining hall, two indoor gyms, numerous outdoor playing fields, 500-seat performing arts center with digital music studio, fully-wired (and wireless) library with over 30,000 volumes, numerous hiking trails and a ropes challenge course.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our staff use professionally-developed curricula and lesson plans to guide campers in bringing to life the dreams that capture their imaginations. Using a hands-on, project-based approach, campers learn and create in a collaborative environment. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Active Learning Services, Ltd operates enrichment programs designed to stimulate creative thinking, improve thinking, logic and memory skills and give children "thinking alternatives" to sports camps and other summer programs. Our programs include chess programs and camps thru USA Chess, Our Gamebuilder Video Game Creation Programs and our Active Learning Computer Enrichment Programs.

Our staff is, comprised of the best children's chess instructors in North America! The USA Chess camps are uniquely qualified to cater to the needs of the advanced scholastic player as well as the true beginner. USA Chess hit its first milestone in the summer of 2000 producing the largest chess camp ever held in the United States, with more than 250 students enrolled. What was most surprising, however, was the amount of absolute beginners in attendance - more than 50% of the total enrollment was just starting to play chess. This realization led to the national rollout tour of 100 camps in more than 70 cities. The annual tours have been immensely successful with several thousand campers attending this year alone.

USA Chess thrives on providing a structured environment that is extremely conducive to learning chess. YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: At MehtA+, we ignite student passion for engineering. Our offerings are catered towards students from Kindergarten to College Freshman and involve a fusion of the humanities and the sciences. We believe the best way to learn something is to apply it and as such, all of our opportunities are application-based.

Our bootcamps give students an in-depth opportunity to learn concepts that are normally taught at the university level, while our workshops serve as a fantastic introduction to a new subject. In order to make engineering education more accessible, our digital kits are always free to everyone and allow students to create something awesome. Volunteerships are offered to former students who are looking to volunteer their time and apply what they have learned for social good, as they intern for one of our clients.

Our college preparatory services, which involve subject tutoring, standardized test preparation and college consulting, provide students the resources they need to be ready for college.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: ACA Accredited Nobles Day Camp adheres to the philosophy of our founders Grandin Wise and George K. Bird, who established the camp in 1948. We provide a safe and supportive environment for our campers to enjoy recreation in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere. Our campers learn to take positive risks and respect the rights of others while developing positive self-esteem and building long-lasting friendships.
