CAMP FACILITIES: Rustic cabins surround the large play field and provide a cool retreat after fun in the sun. Miles of hiking trails surround the camp. Girls have the opportunity to enjoy nature and spend time in small and large group activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Day camp sessions run from July 6 - August 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, Monday through Friday, for girls entering grades K to 10. Before and after care is also available.

Girls are grouped according to age in units. Girls participate in a program theme each week along with art studio, hiking, outdoor cooking, nature, sports, games, archery (grades 2 and up), and all-camp activities. During their time at camp, girls will develop a sense of responsibility and independence in a relaxed, non-competitive setting.

Campers in grades 4 and up can opt to participate in an 1-night overnight during sessions 2,4,6.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
The OVAL Day Camp provides fun and education programs that are designed to give girls new and unique opportunities to learn, grow, and make friends.

All staff participate in a week of pre-camp training where they become oriented to the camp, job responsibilities, procedures, and rules and work on their counseling and camp skills. The OVAL follows the program standards for health, safety, and security guidelines of GSHNJ, GSUSA, the American Camp Association and the New Jersey Youth Camp Standards are followed.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Starting now kids ages three to 14 can enroll in an array of summer camp experiences available from June 15 – September 4, 2015 at Middletown Arts Center (MAC). MAC Camp goes beyond typical summer offerings with creative arts and STEM oriented programs, available the entire summer in half or full day sessions, with per week options. A free, supervised lunch period is included for children who sign up for both a morning and afternoon camp, creating a full day of creative fun.

CAMP FACILITIES: KiddiePreneur Summer Academy is located in a business environment. Children will receive a 1st hand KiddiePreneur experience at our facility located in Hoboken, NJ.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our original KiddiePreneur Curriculum is tailored to fit the needs and understanding of today’s youth and teens. The academy is taught by KiddiePreneur founder, so participants will receive first hand training from the guru herself. Participants will receive 60 hours of KiddiePreneur business training throughout the course of 4 weeks.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): The Parent, Volleyball and Me program provides young volleyball players the opportunity to receive training from a certified instructor on the solid foundation of volleyball and emphasizing good habits from the very beginning. Each training session (8 in total) will build upon a solid foundation of all fundamental movement and the skills needed to participate in the sport of volleyball. The program may also include some competition or game-like drills, volleyball scrimmages and other organized activities.

Parents will also benefit by spending time with their kids thus enhancing their relations from the sport they both are learning as well as having a more realistic view of the different developmental stages of a player from 5 – 7 years old (Fundamentals) to introduction to league and/or recreational play for ages 8 - 10. Those players who have developed their fundamental skills may move on to a more competitive environment (club or travel local team). It is a very fun, positive, confidence building, and supportive training and learning atmosphere.

CAMP FACILITIES: The Colts Neck Golf Club facility features an 18 hole championship golf course, double sided driving range, grass tees and a short game area that gives the camp exclusive use during the summer.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Director of Instruction Bob Gartner started the camp in 2001 and is still the Camp Director. His prior experience includes time with Family Golf Centers, Golf Digest, The Nicklaus/Flick Golf Schools and RDC Golf as well as two years developing GOAL GOLF in the mid 1990's.

Pool Staff: *The Head Lifeguard is required to be 22+. Lifeguards are required to be post high school. *Certifications: Red Cross Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED, WSI a plus. *Have a minimum of: two years experience consisting cumulatively of at least 16 weeks as a children’s camp lifeguard.

Pool staff are required to have strong communication and leadership skills, strong risk management and safety awareness, and a thorough knowledge and application of lifeguard surveillance and rescue techniques.

CAMP FACILITIES: Motion Gymnastics is a 14,000 square foot gymnastics training facility, with air conditioning and 20 foot ceilings, housing a full complement of Men's, Women's, and trampoline events equipment.​The gym also offers wireless internet access to all our customers. Just bring your laptop and you can work while waiting for your child to finish class. Coffee and drink vending machines are also located on premise for your convenience.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Don't miss out on the fun this summer! The staff/instructors at Motion Gymnastics are highly educated and safety certified. We are here to guide and train you to reach your best ability level. Our mission is to provide gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline training to all ability levels and ages in a safe, progressive, and fun environment.

For our summer camp, our new students are evaluated and grouped according to age and ability. This way each group of students will get the most out of the structured gymnastics training. Our campers can look forward to an entire morning of gymnastics. Campers will practice skills on each piece of apparatus.

After breaking for lunch, the fun continues with arts & crafts, games and coordination/socialization activities – perfect for our little preschoolers. The remainder of the afternoon is spent on the trampoline and practicing their tumbling skills on the tumble track, rod and spring floor. It a full day of learning different skills while getting in lots and lots of fun!

Explore the creativity and vibrancy of Latin, Classic Jazz and R&B. NJPAC filmmakers

In collaboration with Downtown Community TV, the NJPAC Filmmakers is a intensive filmmaking arts training program. Through summer classes, students will learn the fundamentals of filmmaking with an emphasis on creating their own original films. While creating films, students will attain artistic and technical skills in camera, audio, and editing programs; practice the art of storytelling using design, lighting, sound and image; create documentaries, music videos, and/or public service announcements. The program also helps students attain skills in media literacy and analysis; view and deconstruct films in round table discussions with media professionals. The program will host an end-of-the-summer film sharing where students will showcase their work.

Our Summer Conservatory Programs are week-long (5 day) programs that focus on one or two specific arenas of theatrical craft and artistry, such as acting, singing, dance and/or improv and provide students a chance to focus more specifically on areas they want to improve and excel in or gain a footing in (such as in our Beginner's Musical Theatre Conservatory).

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summer is a very special time when a child seeks to learn, explore and develop new skills, hobbies and interests.

The Camp Louemma program is specifically designed to meet the diverse and ever-expanding recreational needs and interests of our campers. Because our emphasis is on participation, personal achievement and skill attainment rather than on competition alone, campers of every age and skill level are made to feel comfortable and successful.

Through the use of scheduled activity periods and structured electives, each camper can experience a well-rounded program that includes athletics, aquatics, creative and performing arts and outdoor adventure. Our elective program allows each camper to have direct input into their daily schedule. During elective periods campers may wish to try new activities, concentrate on their favorite ones or enhance their existing skills by participating in individualized instruction or clinics. Each activity is conducted in a supportive, encouraging manner by an experienced counselor or specialist.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: At age 15 we offer a Camper-Worker program where every other day the campers help the wait staff in our dining room. This program trains our campers for the following year when they become staff members at age 16. This program is called the WIT program (Workers In Training) where 16 and 17 year olds work as waiters and waitresses in our dining room.

CAMP FACILITIES: Overnight campers experience life in the outdoors by living in teepees and canvas hogans in family-like small camps of 8 to 10 peers. Every small camp is equipped with canvas shelters housing up to 4 campers, running water for drinking and washing, a non-flushing latrine, and a fire circle for nightly pow wows, songs, and games. There are two centrally-located shower houses for daily hot showers, and a dining hall where breakfast and dinner are served family style.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We believe that going outside is the best way for young people to grow within. That belief has been central for 130 years of helping young people develop the values and skills essential for productive citizenship.

Since 1887, Trail Blazers has sponsored thousands of children to take part in these outdoor adventures where learning happens experientially — by living and playing together, and experiencing the challenges and opportunities the natural environment offers. Today, Trail Blazers remains the second oldest summer program in existence in the United States, and the first to offer environmental education.

As an ACA accredited camp, we insure that all staff are trained professionals in their area. We certify American Red Cross Life Guards and recruit staff from all over the country and the world with a passion for youth development and the outdoors. Each staff member undergoes a skill screening, intensive interview, reference check, and background check. Staff also complete a two-week pre-camp training course covering all aspects of the Trail Blazers program to prepare for the important job of looking after your child's physical and emotional safety.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The Leader-in-Training program at Trail Blazers is designed for current high school students who wish to develop leadership skills through active participation in different aspects of the Trail Blazers Sleep Away program. Our Leaders in Training develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, and environmental consciousness as they learn how to manage the responsibility that comes with being a role model at camp. CAMP FACILITIES: Summit has approx. 30 traditional wooden cabins with electric and private facilities in each cabin. Our main buildings include our newly refinished dining hall, air-conditioned recreational hall, our medical facility, and a newly built outdoor pavilion. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summit Camp is a co-ed sleepaway camp for ages 8-19 years with issues of attention: AD/HD, HFA/Asperger’s Disorder, and/or learning differences. Using the frame of a traditional sleepaway camp, we create platforms of success where our campers can experience outcomes such as improved self-esteem, lasting friendships, and increased independence. This is accomplished through a well-orchestrated and expertly staffed backdrop to a largely traditional camp experience- guided challenges, waterfront, adventure course, and more. It is our goal and desire to take our campers from observing peer interactions to engaging in them, to learn and celebrate their own strengths and successes, and to feel a sense of belonging and shared community with those around them while they are with us.

The Handwork Studio LLC is a kids' needle arts and fashion studio and camp. Our purpose is to pass down the tradition of teaching practical arts such as knitting, crocheting, hand and machine sewing, embroidery, quilting, fashion and crafts in a fun and relaxed environment.

Qualified Candidates Must:
-- Be passionate, warm, caring and ultimately a happy person that will bring excitement to the classroom

CAMP FACILITIES:
Activities run the gamut from sports, crafts, performing arts, music and horseback riding. Campers participate in swim lessons, nature and our favorite Gaga! Our camps sits on 66 acres and has 45,000 sq. of air-conditioned buildings. Tall Pines is accredited by the ACA and is state certified.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Campers are grouped by age and gender and are closely supervised. Junior Camp, ages 3 – 6, are placed in small groups and led through pre-set activities. Middle Campers, 7-9, and Senior Campers, 10-12, participate in an elective program in addition to their regular schedule.

Our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program, ages 13-14, have the best of both worlds, since they get to be campers half the day and train for staff positions the other half. They also go on weekly trips to places like Great Adventure and Dorney Park. As an option, the CITs can travel with our Teens on Wheels Program. CITs can become staffers after finishing ninth grade.

There is something for everyone at Tall Pines. Activities run the gamut from sports, crafts and performing and music arts. Over 800 campers participate in horseback riding, swim lessons, nature, X-Box game room, and our favorite Gaga! NEW this year our 50’ high zip tower with twin 700 ft. zip lines! CAMP FACILITIES: We have a brand new activities building for girls to eat their lunch, programming and more. Our pools offers us the ability for all girls to go swimming and have swim lessons daily, as well as offer a specialty aquatics program. Platform tents, tebins, pavilions and our cabin provide additional program space. Additional program areas include archery, a low ropes course with a zipline, maker space and large fields offer a wide variety of activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp sessions run from July 7 through August 13. Camp DeWitt offers two experiences: General and Specialty.

General Camp programs are designed for girls entering grades K-10 and provide a broad camp experience with varied activities and pool time daily. General Camp programs enable you to experience an array of camp activities every day.

Our Specialty Camp programs are designed for girls entering grades 2-10. Activities are grouped according to program, age, and interest level. Specialty Camp programs focus on a particular interest combined with traditional camp activities like hiking, cook-outs, crafts, and games.

GSHNJ camps are a place where each and every girl can feel safe, valued and supported while making new friends and challenging themselves to try new things. Camp staff is committed to ensuring the health, safety and overall well-being of all campers. GSHNJ camps follow the program standards for health, safety and security guidelines of GSHNJ, GSUSA, ACA, and the New Jersey Youth Camp Standards.

Day camp sessions will run from July 6 through August 14 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday for girls entering Kindergarten to grade 10. In addition to the program theme, girls will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of camp activities which may include hiking, outdoor cooking, nature activities, games, sports, singing, archery (grades 2 and up) and a low ropes course. Our activities building will offer shelter from extreme heat and major storms. Specialty Camp programs focus on a particular interest combined with traditional camp activities like hiking, cook-outs, crafts and games.

Our camp program is based on the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Several of our programs are designed for girls to earn a full badge during the time at camp. Other program may also earn badges or parts of badges. This information will be available after your daughter’s stay at camp.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Earn your Girl Scouts CIT award as you master your leadership and counseling skills. Discover your personal leadership style as you work to identify and build on the strengths you already possess. Participate in activities that teach you skills, attitudes, and behaviors necessary to become a successful counselor in your first week, then work directly with younger campers during your second week.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Camp Agnes DeWitt hires enthusiastic and dedicated adults to provide our summer camp program for girls. All camp staff participate in one week of pre-camp training conducted by trained professionals and many have taken additional training in their specialty areas. All waterfront activities are supervised by American Red Cross certified lifeguards.

Camp DeWitt follows the program standards for health, safety and security guidelines of GSHNJ, GSUSA, the American Camp Association, as well as the New Jersey Youth Camp Standards.

CAMP FACILITIES: Storming Robots is Robotics and Technology Learning Lab consisting of three computer labs for various levels of workshops.

There are 8 to 12 computers in each lab. Depending on the workshop and individual pace, we may set up a team of two or allow students to work individually.

All of programs take on TAG (Talented And Gifted) level:

- Challenge each participant to his/her fullest potential. For example, a 6th grader may be given complex tasks usually given to a 10th grader; but if and only if he/she demonstrates his/her ability to take on the challenge.
Exercise higher order of thinking, creative thinking with engineering disciplines.

- Deliver true robotics experience and engineering, from mechanical building to automation with robotic programming.

- Engage in hands-on projects conducted with engineering process.

- Involve Math applications and problem solving, not just "how to calculate", but "how to apply" under various scenarios in fun but challenging way.
Conclude with small scale of collaborative contests and/or presentation.

All Gr.7+ programs take on Advanced Challenge Track (ACT). - these workshops are designed for the children who desire to pursue more vigorous learning during the summer holidays. Activities will require higher analysis work involving much math application.

All perspective students should read the desired workshop and pre-requisites. These workshops require self-discipline and willingness to work through math problems, and computer programming work.

Regarding the California locations, we have two offices and ample recreation space in each location. There is also a clubhouse in Yorba Linda called (the Troy Club) that is where we host activities for the Summer Camp. The Troy Club has an ample gathering space, a playground, tables and seating, and a large heated pool.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: SFCC uses a behavioral program to replace ineffective, inappropriate behaviors with positive and effective behaviors. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Neil Klatskin Day Camp at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is a place for a child to have fun while growing and maturing through his or her interaction with others. We create a "communal group" where campers and staff participate together. Camp provides experiences that challenge the body, mind and imagination of each individual. Cooperation and communication within a highly supervised group setting ensures the most meaningful and exciting camp experience for each child. It is also at the Neil Klatskin Day Camp that children strengthen their Jewish identity. Staff members consider themselves partners in helping children increase their self-awareness, self-esteem and positive attitude toward adapting to the ever-changing world around us. CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CIT (Counselor-In-Training) Program For Teens Entering 10th Grade 9 am-4 pm (8 weeks) Participants in the CIT Program have the opportunity to develop the skills and experience they need to become camp counselors in summers to come. CIT's participate in special sessions on group dynamics, Jewish programming and leadership training. They develop a close group made up of other teens in leadership capacities and receive support, assistance and guidance throughout the camp season. CIT’s assist counselors with campers in each of our programs which enables them to learn about working with children of all ages. Lunch is included in the fee, and transportation is available.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Neil Klatskin Day Camp is seeking to fill the following positions for summer 2018:

Lifeguards (Red Cross Certified)
Head Counselors (certified educators only)
Sports Staff (including Physical education teachers)
Senior Counselors (current college students)

Experience and a love of working with children ages 3-7. Must be available for the full 8 weeks of camp (June 25th-August 17th) and for staff orientation before camp.
